My kids eat a lot of apples and I always have them in the kitchen. So when I want to give my kids a special treat, I make these air fryer apples. Any type of apples make great apple fries. Make them with Granny Smith, Gala, Honeycrisp or Golden Delicious apples.
Then serve them with a scoop of ice cream, as-is, or used in other dishes like cakes, oatmeal, as a topping for other desserts, like these air fryer pop tarts!

Overview: How to Make Apples in Air Fryer:
- Prep the apples. Wash the apple thoroughly in cold water. Slice the apple in half and remove the core. Slice into evenly sized wedges using a sharp knife. Place in a medium sized bowl and spray with butter flavored cooking spray.
- Mix all of the coating ingredients together. You need brown sugar, cinnamon and graham crackers crumb. Mix well in a medium bowl.
- Mix the apple wedges in the coating mixture until all apple pieces are covered.
VARIATIONS
Don’t like apples? Try using pears, peaches, or your favorite stone fruit.
If you want a healthier alternative, try using maple syrup or honey in place of sugar.
Try using half apples and half pears.
Add a pinch of pumpkin pie spice for a fall touch, or biscoff crushed crumbs instead of Graham crackers.

Ingredients
- 1 medium apple- sliced
- 1 tablespoons graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- Butter flavored cooking spray- For coating the apple slices
Instructions
- Prep the apples. wash, dry, slice and place in a large bowl. Spray with butter flavored cooking spray.
- Mix all of the coating ingredients together. You need brown sugar, cinnamon and graham crackers crumb. Mix well in a medium bowl
- Mix the apple wedges in the coating mixture until all apple pieces are covered.
- Arrange the slices in the air fryer basket.
- Then bake in the air fryer for 5-6 minutes at 425 F.
